Absolutely breath taking location. Perfect if you love walking, but equally lovely if you just want to escape, and enjoy some time out with fabulous views. Enjoy a trip to Wastwater, (once seen, never forgotten), where you will find the small church hidden in the trees. Take in Ravenglass with it's quaint main street to the beach,or Muncaster Castle. Make your own discoveries following in the steps of the Romans. Above all leave your cares and worries, and take home the wonder of this beautiful location.

Lovely remote location with friendly owner. There is a toilet and shower however hot water must be paid for. Stars very visible at night and within walking distance of shop and small town. Cows and pylon were fairly loud at times but nothing outrageous.

We stayed here with our motorhome. Lovely quiet, scenic site, with friendly and informative owner. Great walk into ravenglass , to eat at the pubs, find the honesty ice cream fridge, and ride the steam train.

We hired an electric pitch for our tourer for 7 nights. Absolute bargain for the money. Mike was helpful and friendly. If you want a club house or entertainment this is not for you. But if you want a relaxed atmosphere no noise and great surroundings on a traditional working farm I highly recommend you visit here. You will need to take provisions with you as the nearest supermarket is 20 minutes drive. It is a working farm so if you have young children you will need to supervise them at all times. Would I come back? YES we would and yes we will return.

Stayed at this quiet working farm for a couple of nights. Mike was friendly and helpful. Nice walk to Ravensglass and a bit longer to Seascale with a beach walk part of the way back. Lovely young chick's ans we saw a hawk land neat to our van.

What a lovely little gem of a campsite. 5 spaces with a lovely clean toilet and shower - its cleaned once a day and is perfectly adequate for the size of the place. Lovely hosts who give you info about where to go and what to see. Superb views of the mountains and only 1mile walk to the beach and pubs for food at Ravensglass. We are going back to them.

Super campsite on farm 1.5mls walk from Ravenglass. 5 good sized pitches with electric. Grass, level site, water, septic disposal, toilet & shower in shed, basic but perfectly adequate. No drive over grey waste drain. Peaceful & very quiet. Great stay.

Small motorhome and caravan site, 5 pitches, within walking distance of Ravenglass. Pitches mostly level, grass. One toilet with electric shower in brick building, friendly and helpful owner. Cassette emptying point a little difficult to use, just take time and care. Difficult grey water disposal for motorhomes. The location is quiet and very relaxing. There are holiday cottages on the same site.

We are staying in the caravan park which only has 5 pitches so is perfect if you want to get away from it all! So much to see and do locally. A fab place to stay!

We have stayed here with our caravan twice now. It is a gorgeous CL. The owners are so lovely, friendly and helpful. The views are stunning. Its a working farm so be aware animals do make noises but are so entertaining to watch. The pet pheasant is so cheeky.
